Kristýna Hříbalová

Having passed the Czech school leaving examination and the International Baccalaureate, I graduated from the Open Gate high school in Babice near Prague; I have only achieved all of this thanks to the support granted by The Kellner Family Foundation. At school, I participated in a number of extracurricular activities, such as the floor ball league and the students’ council.

I regard the completion of all three levels of The Duke of Edinburgh Award, which I passed by accepting a certificate from Prince Edward, as my greatest accomplishment so far. In my leisure time I also volunteered in a Prague-based non-profit organization, Forum 2000, where I helped organize the visit of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama to Prague. My hobbies also include keeping a ferret and training basketball.
