The Last Semester at University and the Dream Graduation in Zofin Palace

In my very first blog contribution, I mentioned that UNYP and ESC held the graduation ceremony in Zofin Palace and for this it is worth to finish the studies.

It was nearly 4 years ago and now I can start counting down the days. Well, I have not finished my thesis and passed my exams yet, but I am now more concerned what to wear.

I meant that as a joke. Of course, the thesis, last few subject exams, the final exams and last but not least the Congress are the priority for me. However, my schedule is rather busy I am not experiencing any sleep deprivation (yet). In the previous blog contributions I have mentioned the Congress which will be held in Šumava in the end of April. After the two years of diligent preparations, the most essential parts are settled. The participants are registered, speakers and professors ready, and the organization team under stress…

Over 300 participants from all over Europe got registered and I cannot wait until they will taste the bits of Czech culture in the social program, where the fireman’s ball, raffle, hockey cheering in the pub and others are prepared for them.

Until then I have to conduct my research, collect the data and write it all up into nice and neat essay - the thesis. I made a very courageous step and voluntarily settled the deadline for my thesis a month before the official deadline, which is on the April fool’s Day. By the same day I have apply for most of the Master programmes I am interested in. My favourite is the two years research in Clinical and Health Psychology. Hopefully the fool’s day turns out to be my lucky day so I will be moving to Leiden in the Netherlands at the end of September.
