Third year at uni is basically all about the dissertation. Nevertheless, I still have to do some other assignments, such as essays, presentations and projects. It feels like I use the word ‘dissertation’ way too often, sometimes like 10 times a day; and this is being made even better by me having constant dreams about it. It is great that the uni offers great deal of support and help to every student who needs it. Almost every other friday there are workshops on the actual process of dissertation writing.
As you may know from my previous blog posts, I have moved to a new house. There are still some minor things to be taken care of, and when that is done the house will be perfect.
In the following two years, there are going to be few new uni buildings built in our lovely campus. Too bad I won’t be a student anymore to experience it, since they look incredible in the pictures.
Yesterday I went to this Bath Christmas Lights Switch On, which takes place on 13th November each year. The whole event was being broadcasted live from Bath. One Show was part of the event happenings, and it was being shot right on stage in front of the entire cheered up crowd. And since One Show is a favourite english talk show, the turn up was immense. However, due to organizational reasons, the actual Lights Switch On had to be delayed by roughly one hour. Just so that you can imagine the spirit of the event, a high number of people have actually been waiting for more than 3 hours for the event to start.
Since I have got 2 hours a week worth of seminars in local Holburne Museum, I am going to be taking part in the ‘Lantern making workshop.’ After I will have learned how to make them, I and my classmates will be helping out small kids, who are members of the Museum’s Art Club, to make their own lanterns.
