Czech Students Heading for the World

For this academic year, a total of 52 students have won support granted by The Kellner Family Foundation, which spends approximately CZK 10 million on grants every year.

Over the six years of the existence of the project as many as 126 students have won grants totalling approximately CZK 61 million. The single largest group of students is heading for schools in the UK, others travel to the Netherlands, the US, France, Japan, Ireland and Sweden. Ten students will enrol at universities and colleges in the Czech Republic. The Kellner Family Foundation, a family foundation of Mrs Renáta Kellnerová and Mr Petr Kellner, was set up in 2009 with a view to promoting mainly long-term educational projects intended for elementary school students and teachers, students of secondary schools and higher education institutions, and also postgraduates.
