Third of my studies done

The beginning of each semester is quite hard. Moreover, if I manage to have two weeks off in between of winter and summer semester. I always tell myself that I should study on hundred percent right from the start. Nevertheless, the motivation tends to decline, and at the end, I rather relax after the school than study.

This semester was even harder from this point of view. Most of days, I was supposed to be at school from the morning till late evening. However, despite this fact, I had to conquer my laziness and in the third week prepare for the first test from microbiology. In the week of this test, I had to go to the lesson with another group, which was a huge advantage later on since after successful finishing, we were told that we will not go to school for some time.

Honestly, I am very glad for this semester. To be at my home with my parents for almost four months have not happened to me since I have been 14. First weeks were freer. Most of the teachers had to firstly figure out how will they teach their subject after these changes. I am very happy that I have managed to maintain my studies like I would normally do while attending the school. After few weeks, my life became a stereotype. Every morning getting up very early, studying the whole day, and later working out. In the beginning of May, my regime got even more intense due to the preparation for the exam from Microbiology.

This semester, I had six exams from total of ten subjects. Expect one exam all where done in the distant form. From Animal Protection and Microbiology, I got B. From Basics of Veterinary Care, Animal Nutrition, Animal Husbandry and Clinical Anatomy, I got A. Subjects which I have successfully finished and will follow me into the next semester are Immunology, Pharmacology, Pathophysiology and Pathomorphology.

However, due to the coronavirus situation I could not have done my practice, and other hobbies connected to Brno. Nevertheless, I am glad for some time to relax, time spend with my family and time for working out that I do not normally have. Now there are only the summer holidays ahead of me and third year of veterinary medicine. There is still a lot that I have to go through, but I think it is good to mention that I am in the third of my studies. I hope the following four years will be as successful as the first two.
