My quarantine life

Due to the quarantine I was worried about many things. I had no idea how the school would work during shutdown, what would the examination period be like and generally what to do during these times. Eventually everything went well, and I enjoyed the time spent in the quarantine.

In the first place, there was a change in the teaching system. Lectures were online and we had had a bit more self-study, which was no problem for a university student.  Professors provided us with everything needed for the specific subjects through e-mail and Microsoft Teams, where the lectures took place. When the examination period came, our university used the same approach as for the lectures, so we had several oral exams online using Microsoft Teams. When the school reopened, I also had several exams there. I used the same strategy to choose exams dates as in the last semester. Thanks to that, everything went well with pretty much no stress.

Closed gyms and other closed sport centers had no effect on me. Using my bodyweight, expanders and dumbbells I was able to replicate most the exercises that I needed. In the second half of the quarantine, I was on a diet and I can happily say that I stayed fit. Furthermore, thanks to this situation I realized how important our health is, so I practice Wim Hof breathing method more often, followed by cold shower therapy.
Despite a slightly unconventional second semester, I really enjoyed this school year and I think that I made another step towards the better version of myself. The last year of the bachelor study is coming and I hope everything will go well, but firstly it is necessary to enjoy summer holidays, rest a bit and prepare mentally.
