Lets love Maths!

The spring semester was quite different this year in Aberdeen, however, that could be said about any place in the World I guess. I have no intention to burden you with details, only important thing is I finished this semester successfully. But, because I have been at home since the end of March, I have had enough time to think about studying, and about studying mathematics in particular, and I came to some rather interesting ideas.

While I was reading some articles, I realized that the reason, why is math so unpopular, is the total acceptance of its unpopularity in the society – famous people often brag about their bad Maths Exams results, others take it as some bad neccessity and only few like maths and think it is an enjoyable field of study.

That is the reason why I created a new portal for studying Mathematics – a new platform where maths is explained as something enjoyable, something fun and creative, like a game or nice activity at least. You can find my first videos here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLX7t1XObeMNCeZ2yvwIYpYbcO87HO0Q6U&fbclid=IwAR1sWugVt15tQNTS3ei6362ogIHk14PJe3iHrH0lLMp2PyjCk8H-MY55xNs

In the future I would like to shoot more videos about some interesting topics or weird examples – it should be fun and it should motivate people to go to the libraries or search internet for fun mathematics, for enjoyable mathematics.

If you possibly have any ideas or comments whatsoever about this topic, please, do not hesitte and share it with me immediately!

I am deeply aware that I would not have time and abilities to do such things (like a new Maths teaching platform) if I wasn’t generously supported by Kellner Family Foundation. I thank for it humbly.

Have a nice summer and love Maths!

Mějme rádi matematiku!
