Last term

My last term of the 2016/17 year wasn’t too academically intense, because we all needed to recover from our difficult exams which took place at the end of April.

To my great joy my exam results ended up better than expected, so I decided to spend the last term in a more relaxed manner than usual and apart from lectures I spent a lot of time doing sports and hanging out with friends (for example, doing the traditional Oxford activity of river punting, as portrayed in the photos).

Towards the end of term I also experienced a big personal event - I got engaged to my long term partner and we started planning our wedding. At the end of June I began to return to academic ambitions as I started off a research internship at my favourite lab in Oxford’s Department of Psychiatry.
