5 full shows, performed in 3 countries and 10 performers from all around the world without any director or production manager.
Tricky and challenging combo indeed, but I have to admit that even though I had so much stress (with helping organizing the Czech show) it was a really valuable experience.
However during the whole tour I did not rest at all so I decided to spend the rest of my summer in the Czech Republic. In august I did only couple shows around czech festivals and while a was sometimes relaxing, I was reading through books for my final bachelor thesis.
Since the beginning of the semester I am focused on only 3 things: writing my bachelor thesis, creation of my graduation act and conditioning and exercising in order to be able to pass the final physical tests.
On top of everything I was asked by the General Consulate of the Czech Republic in Shanghai to perform at their celebrations of founding of Czechoslovakia.
Luckily I managed to write most of my thesis already in September, so I could confirm my show.
After many visits of the Chinese Embassy and the visa center in Den Haag, I was finally holding my visa to China in my own hands so I could take my flight the day after.
3 days in total in Shanghai, 1 show day and 2 days of tourism was for me really intense cultural and professional experience.
At this point I am already back in Rotterdam and my bachelor thesis with topic Design and Development of a New Juggling Prop is handed out, presented and is waiting for the results.
Next up: physical tests in december and group production starting in the end of January.
I can not wait to focus on the creation of my final graduation act.
Thanks to KFF for all the support.
