Among the most interesting experiences that I have had in the third semester so far are shooting during the subject Hunting, a walk around Brno dam within the Ecology class, trip to farm and measurement of parameters in cows and calves within the Physiology class. You would not believe what it is like to be surrounded by cows without any escape possibility. When looking at my subjects, I have to say that my most favorite subject is Microbiology. The content of these classes is very interesting and also the doctor who teaches this subject is really nice. For example, we were testing the effect of antibiotics on bacteria.
It is also interesting to look at the decline in the numbers of students between first and second year. In my class we were 45 people, we are only 30 now. Even out of these 30 students, there are still many who did not finish some of the exams. The study on our university is definitely hard, and one does not know if he or she gets further.
Every week I am also visiting one vet and going there to practice. She is really amazing and funny person with very interesting experiences. I like to watch her work. Also she lets me try many things; therefore, I feel my time there is well spent.
During the weekends, I am mostly staying in Brno and trying to do as much for school as possible and relax a bit. However, I always find some time to go home or to take care of my fluffy friends. Nathy, Molly, Linda, Kimba and Rosie always lift my mood and give me the necessary strength and motivation to keep going and study.
