I am a university student

The longest holidays of my life are away. After seven years’ marathon of tests, exams, homework, presentations etc. I enjoyed four free months.

October the 2nd I firstly came to the oldest private university in the Czech Republic – University of Jan Amos Komenský in Prague. On this university I am going to fight the next three years for the Bachelor’s degree in Social and medial communication.

The timetable suits me. Mondays and Wednesdays free, even weeks ten lectures, odd week three lectures less. The hardest thing for me was the adaptation in my new school and in Prague. I live in a flat by parents of my friend Patrik Procházka. It’s nice of them that they offered me this choice. No long way from the flat to my school, just few minutes by tram and bus.

I found new friends and learned some new things during last two months of school. I hate Modern History, but I love Pedagogy and Andragogy (education of adult). The period of final exams is coming. I hope that it will be no problem for me to get to the next semester.

What extracurricular activities are concerned, I'm starting to look for a temporary job. I would like to write articles for a magazine or newspaper here in the capital city of the Czech Republic. I continue with the charity work as a webmaster and an editor for Zámeček – the only medium for children’s homes.
