Back in London

I spent my time back home during the last month, enjoying the easter break at its best. It was really surprising to me that, thanks to a little bit of planning, I managed to do so many things and activities.

I jogged regularly and also finally got to play my violin more than once a month. And what more, I even spent a weekend in the mountains, enjoying the last remnants of snow.

However that time is past – I am back in London since the last Sunday, slouching my back over the endless piles of the revision material. The third term is only at its beginning and I have still some four weeks to go. The exam timetable is very unpleasant this year, compared to the previous one. We have seven exams during two weeks time, beginning with two exams in one day on Monday. That is why I really do not want to leave everything up till the very last moment.

Luckily, the weather is really good here, so I can continue in my compensation ritual even here, in the hearth of Peckham. The quarter is pretty crowded and the traffic is really dense here, so I am trying to jog early in the morning. Fortunately, the vast majority of Peckahmians are great sleepers (say except the arabian hallal butchers, that I am meeting regularly at 6 am loading their street kiosks with fresh meat), so I can enjoy at least a little of the same flavour of freedom I am used to at home.

Enjoy, and wish me good luck for the exams!
