3rd year finished

In the middle of May I finished my 3rd year of undergraduate studies at The Juilliard School of Music in New York. I think I enjoyed a very busy but successful year full of improvements and new challenges and it helped me to get to new places and meet new people.

When I returned back to New York from Texas, I had only one orchestral assignment left, nevertheless it was probably the most important concert I have so far played at Juilliard. It was called the Gala concert and it was a fund raising performance. It was more of a show than an actual concert and I have to say I did enjoy it even though as a classical musician I am usually against it. It proved to be one of the most successful fund raising concerts for Juilliard ever. The school raised close to a hundred million dollars, one single person donated sixty million dollars for scholarships only.

After the concert I had only my juries and finals left and after successfully finishing them I returned home for a month. It was definitely nice to relax a little bit and see my family and friends. After that I left for third straight summer in Music Academy of the West in Santa Barbara and now I am enjoying the sunny beaches of California in company of the best artist from all over the world.
