Over the past year I met so many new, incredible people, I found so many new places and gained new, life experiences. I tried to focus a lot on myself and my personal growth a lot more than ever before. I had to figure out how to deal with all kinds of problems, especially new adult problems, which mainly include paying rent, electricity, internet and basically everything else. Living is quite an expensive thing to do. But luckily I don’t perceive this change only negatively. I am glad that during this past year I realized what I enjoy doing, how to spend time only with myself and actually enjoy it and that knowing how to be alone is very important. Not worrying when something doesn’t work out as planned was another big lesson for me, because even if you try and do your best, things usually end up differently and that's okay.
Now I know that even thought I thought I was ready for this new grown up life, I wasn’t, because no one can be. And I’m still getting used to this new hectic life in Prague and I love every second of it. I even enjoy my university studies a lot (of course except for the exams - not so funny anymore), but I’m also looking forward to some more specific subjects next year, which will be more relevant to my field of study. Overall I must say, that I’m truly happy, with every aspect of my life and I can’t wait for next year and it’s challenges. Now, let’s just enjoy few months of holidays - everyone deserves some!
