University of Glasgow
Politologie, španělština, středo-východní studia
University studies in Scotland usually take 4 years. In the first two years, you study 3 subjects of your choice, which need not be connected in terms of specialization or context. At the beginning of the third year, you choose the subject of your greatest interest for your major. Then you go on studying it for the next two years and obtain a degree in it. I studied Political Science, Central and Eastern European Studies, and Spanish in my first year. Due to scheduling conflicts this year, I am replacing Spanish with Slavic Studies - an overview of Eastern European literature, film and culture in the 19th century as well as after 1989.
