Open Gate graduate in 2011

Thanks to the support from The Kellner Family Foundation, I completed my six-year studies at the Open Gate grammar school successfully with two graduation exams at once - the International Baccalaureate and the Czech standard school-leaving exam. And they contributed to helping me to get to the UK’s University of Warwick, where I will plunge into sociology studies in October 2011. I chose the subject as a suitable springboard for my future voyages through the non-profit sector. I made my first foray into the field at age fifteen when I started “working” for Prague’s Forum 2000 Foundation. As part of my volunteering, I have been recently translating for Amnesty International, UNICEF and TEDx. And the huge amount of volunteer work in the UK is what I am looking forward to the most.
