Friends of Ledro

The Foundation helped fund a programme by Friends of Ledro to organise a travelling exhibition about the Italian diaspora and Italians who emigrated to Bohemia. This exhibition was set up in cooperation with the Italian Comune di Ledro and Friends of Italy. Through historical photographs and documents, the exhibition recalls the events of 1915–1918, when several thousand women, children and elderly were displaced from Italy and emigrated to the Czech Lands. At the time, Czechs housed the Italian migrants in their own homes.
