Open Days | Open Gate School

Come and see the way things are running at the Open Gate grammar school and primary school in Babice near Prague. We will be happy to show you around and answer your questions.

We look forward to seeing you on Thursday 22 November 2018 and on 24 January 2019, or at any other time as you may arrange with us.

The Open Day programme
3pm Tour of the campus, including classrooms and living quarters
At the entrance, our students will pick you up and show you around the school’s campus. From classrooms featuring modern furnishings to student living quarters, the library, the sports hall and indoor swimming pool, to the farm and other buildings and pastures with horses. There are things to look forward to.

4.30pm Presentation of the school and scholarships
In the sports hall, we will give you more information about the operation of the school, lodging for students, transport to and from the school, the range of extracurricular activities for our pupils and students, and the universities at which they continue studying. There really is a lot of information.
You will also hear about our scholarships. We can tell you in advance that, to date 329 of the Open Gate grammar school students have obtained a contribution to their school fees.

Kateřina Kožnarová, the school principal, will tell you everything about instruction and the student’s profile in the sports hall.
Petr Chára, the deputy school principal, will tell you more about the grammar school in the sports hall.
Jiří Luka, the primary school principal, will tell you everything about the primary school in the sports hall.
You can discuss scholarships with Hana Halfarová of The Kellner Family Foundation, also in the sports hall.
