Miroslava Škardová

Ms. Škardová holds a degree in Education from Charles University’s Faculty of Arts in Prague. She currently works at Step by Step ČR, o.p.s. [a charitable organization] as a national educator, instructor and mentor for the “Začít spolu” (“Starting Together”) program. In further education for teachers, she also teaches courses aimed at promoting the development of reading and pre-reading literacy, as well as courses in teamwork and communication. Ms. Škardová is a member of the Helping Schools Succeed reading team, which is involved in developing ‘the reading continuum’. She is also the author of three children’s books for early reading, and she works with Nová škola o.p.s. [a charitable organization] as the regional methodology coordinator under the School Reading Clubs project.

As part of the Helping Schools Succeed project, she has worked alongside Gabriela Klečková as an instructional coach at the Staňkov Elementary School since January 2017.
