The Kellner Family Foundation and PPF Group pledge CZK 100 million to the education of refugee children from Ukraine

The Kellner Family Foundation and PPF Group (through PPF Foundation) announced an agreement with the Czech Minister for Education on a joint CZK 100 million donation to fund a programme for the integration and primary education of refugee children from war-torn Ukraine.

Representatives of PPF Foundation and The Kellner Family Foundation will sign a formal agreement with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports in the coming days. Once the necessary legal documentation has been drawn up, primary schools in the Czech Republic can apply individually for financial assistance under the programme. Other PPF Group companies are preparing their own aid projects, including employee fundraisers and staff volunteering.

PPF Group’s support for the education of refugee children from Ukraine is driven by its commitment to provide targeted, meaningful and long-term assistance where it is needed. We firmly hope that the fighting in Ukraine and loss of human lives resulting from Russia’s unprovoked aggression will end soon. War does not belong in twenty-first-century Europe.
