Kateřina Novotná

Project Consultant, Slatiňany Primary School

She graduated as a teacher for the first stage (age 6 to 10) of elementary schools from the Faculty of Education of Charles University in Prague, and then in remedial pedagogy (both psychological and physiological disorders). She worked as a teacher, elementary school principal, and school inspector. She currently works as a teacher, mentor and coach in projects focused on teacher and principal education. She worked with Helping Schools Succeed as an instructional coach at the Mendel Elementary School in Karviná from 2010 to 2015; since 2017 she works as an instructional coach at the Elementary School in Slatiňany.

She lives in Chrudim and has an adult son. She likes skiing, walking and cycling in forests and mountains in the summer and winter, alone as well as with friends.
