The Foundation’s activity

What projects does the Foundation support financially?
The Foundation focuses primarily on long-term projects in education and scientific research. It is currently running four mainstay projects: Open Gate - grants for disadvantaged students to study at the Open Gate boarding school, Universities - grants for Czech students to study at, primarily, international universities, Helping Schools Succeed - further education of teachers and improving the quality of teaching at Czech elementary schools, and Science - grants intended for oncology researchers.

How to apply to the Foundation for support?
The Board of Trustees of the Foundation decides on whom to support on the basis of the applications received and of its own research. More information on how to apply for grants under the various projects is available in the “I want to join” section.

How can you reach us?
The fastest way is via e-mail. Questions can also be sent in writing to the Foundation’s address and asked by telephone, or you can make an appointment with the Foundation’s representatives; all contact details are available here

Does the Foundation support individual applications in addition to its own projects?
The Foundation helps individual applicants as well. The Foundation’s officers assess every application carefully, and its Board of Trustees decides on whether or not to provide a grant.
