The Foundation in figures

Over its nine years in existence (2009-2017), the Foundation has donated CZK 621 million for projects, primarily in the field of education.

329 students of the Open Gate school received grants in period 2005 - 2018 (i.e. 54% of all students); 96 of them received grants in school year 2018/2019, totaling about CZK 40 million. Our grantees include 5 students from children’s homes, and 14 from foster care, and the rest of grantees come from families whose socio-economic status would have prevented them from providing their children with good educations matching the children’s talents and determination to learn.
